Desert, Space and Stars: Tankwa Fly-in and Camp Experience

Join us on an overnight escape from the city, and immerse yourself in the unparalleled beauty of the Tankwa Karoo with our overnight fly-In and desert camp experience.

Embark on an extraordinary three-day wine and culinary journey that takes you beyond the usual wine routes—by air!

Day 1: Begin with a scenic flight from Stellenbosch, circling the Cape Peninsula before heading up the West Coast to Saldanha. Enjoy a tasting at Gedeelte Wines, known for its unique limestone-grown wines near the sea. End the day with a rustic seafood feast at Die Strandloper before an overnight stay in Paternoster.

Day 2: Fly to the Karoo to visit Karoo Hoogland Wines, experiencing wine in an arid, remote setting. Stay overnight, enjoying traditional Karoo hospitality with lamb chops and roosterkoek.

Day 3: Head to Robertson, the heart of wine country, for a Weltevrede Wines tasting and a farm-to-table lunch at Kapokbos Restaurant. Conclude your adventure with a final scenic flight back, soaking in breathtaking Winelands views.
